Nelly’s Playground provides on-site services for your 6 month-5 year olds with a safe, soft play environment, we’ve got what you need for your next event. Our engaging equipment provides youngsters with a variety of stimulating entertainment. Sanitary and full of opportunities for physical and mental engagement, our playsets are perfect for parents in search of party solutions for small children.

 

Because our equipment is cushioned and soft, children are unlikely to be injured while engaging with it. And because we restrict the ages of children permitted in our play areas to 5 years old, smaller children can have fun without fear of being trampled by the big kids.

It’s small size allows it to fit into most living rooms or basements. Or put it out in the yard so the kids can enjoy the fresh air!

FAQS:

How long can we hire the soft play equipment for?

 

Our equipment can be hired for four hours. We require 30-45 minutes to set-up and take down our equipment. Each additional hour is $150. Call for full-day rates.

 

Is the equipment for indoor or outdoor use?

 

We can set up on grass, pavement, or indoors. 

Outdoor setup requires a shaded area or a suitable cover in the form of a party tent, etc,, as the equipment will get hot in direct sunlight. A tarp will be provided but please make sure the ground is flat, well-drained, and clear of glass and debris. We do not set up on dirt or sand.

 

Special instructions and other restrictions (stairs, elevators, limited parking) must be disclosed in advance before your party date so that we can plan for them.

 

Additional fees may apply if we must deliver via stairs or to venues located long distances from the loading zone (including parks, large estates, or other locations that present delivery complications).

 

What about parties at parks and other public accommodations?

For parks you will need to contact the park in advance to determine the requirements needed to set up. Permits may be required. Those are your responsibility. Please be sure to inform them that Nelly’s will onsite to avoid last-minute issues.

 

What if I want to rent your equipment but have limited space?

No problem!  We can make special arrangements for you. Just give us your requirements and we will make it work!

 

How does delivery work? Do I need to set it up?

We deliver, set up, and break down play equipment for you. Our set-up and removal of the equipment will take about 20-45 minutes; this is not included in your booked time. Please take this into account when booking venue times. We require easy access to the venue for unloading and loading of equipment. Any restrictions (e.g. lack of parking, stairs) must be reported prior to the event. Failure to do so may result in an additional fee.

 

Is there a delivery fee?

Delivery and set-up is free within 10 miles of zip code 60191.  

 

What if it rains?

The soft play equipment will not be set up outdoors if rain or strong winds are in the forecast. The equipment will become slippery and unsafe under such conditions. We will offer a credit for a future party if the weather turns bad on the day of the event and no alternative indoor location has been arranged.

 

Do I need to pay a deposit prior to the event?

Yes! We request 50% at the time of booking to reserve your date and 50% one week prior to the event. Deposits are Non-Refundable.

 

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations less than 14 days prior to the event will result in the loss of the deposit.  

 

How do I book?

Reservations can be made by emailing us at tinytotsmobileplay@gmail.com. Please include the date, venue location, and time. We will get back to you within 24 hours. We require a deposit to secure the date. If the deposit is not paid after 3 days, the reservation will be cancelled without notice. Deposits are accepted via Paypal or Venmo. The remaining balance is due one week prior to the start of the party. You may also call us at -----.

Do you have insurance?

Yes. However, it is the client’s responsibility to ensure that there is responsible adult supervision of the equipment and those using it, at all times. Please always consider the appropriate ratio of children on the equipment to the number of adult supervisors assisting them. A liability waiver form will need to be signed prior to the start of the event. 

 

Once we set up the play area, we leave and the client becomes liable for any injury or damage to our equipment. The client must fill out liability form before the play area is set up.

 

How clean is the equipment?

As parents to two toddlers, we know the importance of maintaining cleanliness. We have a strict cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfecting routine after each rental. All equipment is again sanitized  after set up. This prevents the spread of pathogens between kids. Equipment must be cleaned by the client at the time of pickup. A $50 dollar cleaning fee will apply if the equipment is extremely dirty.

How soon can we book?

Booking as soon as you have a confirmed date for your event. We will hold the date for you for up to two days. We will complete your reservation once we receive your deposit. If the deposit is not received within that period, the date and time is released without notice.

 

We suggest you book in advance to make sure that your date is available, as weekends can fill up quickly. Our bookings are first come-first served.

 

I am ready to book. What I should do next? 

Call or email us. Deposits are accepted via Zelle, by phone, or in person. We accept most major credit and debit cards. 

 

What are the rules for using the play zones?

  • Play at your own risk. Nelly’s Playground LLC will accept NO responsibility for any injury incurred during the use of our soft play equipment.

  • Shoes must be removed before entry and socks must be worn at ALL TIMES for hygiene and safety reasons. That includes you too, adults!

  • Parents and guardians must maintain supervision of the children and must be present at ALL TIMES while the equipment is in use.

  • No food, candy or drinks are allowed in or near the play area.

  • No bubbles, colored pens, face paint, or other coloring material are allowed in or near the play area.

  • Pets are not allowed in or near the play area.

  • Soft play toys may not be taken out of the play area. The play area may not be moved from where it is originally set-up.

  • The play area is designed for children under 5 years old ONLY.

  • No more than the recommended number of children are allowed in the play area at a given time. See packages for capacity.

  • No pushing, shoving, wrestling, or horseplay.
